About the event
Lititz Outsider comes to our town with one mission: to bring the outdoors to everyone and to bring everyone to the outdoors. Upon opening our doors in late May, we have been able to establish ourselves as Lancaster County’s only combination bike shop and outfitter- aimed at providing the best products to foster the enjoyment of our planet through adventure in the great outdoors, both locally and abroad.
To kick off our monthly hike series, we will lead a beginner-friendly hike through the Millport Conservancy lasting approximately one hour. During this time, we will observe the beauty of the Conservancy, chat about various ecological topics, and share some time in nature.
Millport Conservancy was founded as a nonprofit organization in 1988 by Robert and Carolyn Wohlsen, who purchased the Millport Roller Mills, along with auxiliary structures and surrounding farmland in 1969. Part of the restored Lititz Run, Millport Conservancy has…
